Long Island Junior Firefighter Group Holds Inaugural Training Camp

Connecting with other junior firefighter programs in your area strengthens your regional fire service and provides more training and networking opportunities for junior firefighters. In July, the NCJFA hosted their first weeklong junior firefighter training event, a project years in the making. Camp Fahrenheit 516 was held at the Nassau County Fire Service Academy on July 20-24, 2015. Watch a video about the camp, then visit to learn more about the organization and find ideas for starting your own regional association!
