How did you find out about your junior firefighter/Explorer program?
I just called my hose company and saw if they took juniors.
Do you hold any special office or position?
Yes, I am the Junior Chief.
What are your favorite activities as a junior firefighter?
Training would be my favorite my activity.
What do you consider to be the biggest accomplishment so far in your life?
Becoming a junior firefighter.
Why did you become a junior firefighter?
I wanted to help people and be like my grandfather.
What have you learned from being a junior firefighter?
I have learned a lot about saving lives and property, and most importantly I’ve made memories.
Tell us about a time when you got to use what you’ve learned as a junior firefighter.
One time I helped my EMS Captain when a person was in cardiac arrest.
Who is your role model and what have you learned from that person?
My grandfather is my role model. I have learned everything from him.
What would you tell someone who was interested in becoming a junior firefighter?
Do it! It’s the best thing a person could do.
What are your plans for the future?
My future plans are getting more training and going to the police academy and becoming a state trooper.
